hello, i have to ask you a question.. what is this telepathic inner voice speaking from among trees and bushes in public parks and which makes me feel cold shivers on my back associates with guilt and sadness if i step on snails or rip leaves or flowers from trees and bushes?.

did i mention increased heartbeat, reddening of the face and a strong headache associated with this guilt?.

it seems to speak about unconditional love for everything and everyone, animals, plants, people and that i should treat them with kindness and care even if they harm me.. also it seems to make me feel shivers of guilt and headaches if i have thoughts of obsession, pride or selfish ambition.

My sister was about 7 when she had a massive bleed and had to be taken to hospital. She needed a transfusion but being jw's, my parents said no.

One of the nursing staff told my mother that my sister was the closest they had ever seen anyone come to death and not actually die, her skin had turned grey.

usa politicians in charge of the economy for the past 50 years were too stupid to understand how the economy works.

this just proves my theory, that an education on the top tier universities just sucks and means nothing in the real world, unless its in the stem education.

for 50 years usa had zero tariffs on other countries.

Yep, that's why I doubt Trump will ever get everything he wants. Why would any manufacturing company decide to move everything to America in this tenuous political environment? By the time they have done it there will be a new President, or Trump will have changed the rules again.

The market has told Trump he can't impose sky high tariffs because it adversely affects his own country. So right now, the tariffs aren't high enough to eliminate income taxes but they are high enough to cause inflation for the American consumer and disrupt supply chains.

DD, maybe you underestimate the affect of the American economy on the rest of the world. That's why people from other countries comment about the US economy.

Trump has caused a stock market crash, affecting pensions and investments worldwide. Tariffs are likely to hurt American consumers. Trade and economies that have taken years to set up have been unbalanced. America has lost the trust of a lot of countries who are now looking for alternative markets. Consumers outside America are boycotting American made products.

Trumps goals to streamline America's economy may be the right thing to do but it seems like he was trying to do it overnight.

If you are a Trump fan, the 'America first' motto probably sounds great but he seems to be punishing everyone else for Americas problems.

regarding God’s "rest" since creation: this rest is not inactivity, as if God ceased to act altogether, but rather the completion and enjoyment of creation. God's "rest" refers to His cessation from new acts of creation, not from providence or governance.

Well, god causing manna to fall from heaven was a new act of creation.

I have a question. When jesus was on earth - was he still God?

If so, did he do any work while on earth. The bible says he was the son of a carpenter, so presumably he worked with his father.

If he worked while on earth, how did he not break his own perfect law about working on the sabbath?

In the old testament, a man was stoned to death for gathering sticks on the sabbath.

Allegedly, God has been in his day of rest - his sabbath, since he created Eve - right? Yet, presumably jesus must have worked and therefore broke his own law.

for believers of god and christ, it seems that it should be obvious that babylon the great of revelation should be all religions and spiritual practices associated with the one true enemy of christ...the devil, satan, the snake etc.

essentially any group or individual practicing and promoting witchcraft, sorcery, devil worshipping etc.

all things practiced in ancient babylon (the nation presumably used as the model for the one in revelation).. or is this too simple of an explanation?.

There is a reason we studied the revelation book millions of times back in the day.

The GB was trying to fit square pegs into round holes using the most convoluted, mysterious nonsense they could to make revelation seem like it was all talking about the 20th century and in particular the JW religion.

Just read revelation with no biases, it doesn't take long. Its actually a really enjoyable, interesting read.

Everyone wants to believe that the period of time they are living in is special simply because they happen to be alive.

Revelation has taken care of this need for the last 2000 years, enabling a lot of people to live in fantasy land.
